Barrientos Design was retained by Brown County to study the feasibility and impact of consolidating the following six departments: Human Services, Business Operations, IT, Health Department, UW-Extension and a County Board Room.

The scope of work consisted of evaluating four separate facilities in the Green Bay area and relocating 430 employees into one new facility. Our team reviewed existing space utilization, prepared new space programs, created vertical stacking diagrams and desired office amenities. The final study deliverables included detailed plans, visualization of a building, space allocations by department and floor and cost estimates.

Additionally, a campus plan was developed that considered connections between the existing County Jail and a future Courthouse and Administration Building.
